Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the GrabGuard application or website. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Service.
1. About GrabGuard
GrabGuard is a personal safety and anti-theft application developed and operated by GrabGuard ("we", "us", "our"), based in the United Kingdom. The Service includes the GrabGuard mobile application, the SafeKey Bluetooth fob accessory, and the website located at mygrabguard.com.
GrabGuard is currently in pre-launch development. Features described on this website represent our intended product and may change prior to or after launch.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use GrabGuard. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are purchasing or setting up GrabGuard for a person under 16, you take responsibility for their use of the Service.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of GrabGuard, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unlawful purposes.
4. The Service — Acceptable Use
GrabGuard is designed solely for personal safety and anti-theft purposes. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use GrabGuard to harass, intimidate, or harm any other person
- Trigger false alarms knowingly or recklessly
- Use the Service in a manner that interferes with emergency services or law enforcement
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the application
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Share your account credentials with others
5. Important Safety Limitations
GrabGuard is a supplementary safety tool and has inherent technical limitations you should be aware of:
- Network dependency: Remote alarm triggering requires an active internet connection on both devices. GrabGuard cannot guarantee alarm delivery in areas with no mobile signal.
- Bluetooth range: The SafeKey fob operates within a limited Bluetooth range (up to 30 metres in open space). Range may be reduced by physical obstacles, interference, or environmental conditions.
- Battery dependency: The Service requires sufficient battery charge on your device and fob to function. We recommend keeping both charged.
- Emergency services: GrabGuard is not a replacement for calling 999 or your local emergency number. In any life-threatening situation, always contact the emergency services directly.
- Background operation: Device operating system restrictions may affect background alarm functionality. We strive to minimise these limitations but cannot guarantee uninterrupted background operation on all devices.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
GrabGuard will offer subscription plans upon launch. The following terms apply:
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
- Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable UK consumer law
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers
The SafeKey fob is a physical product sold separately via mygrabguard.com and is subject to our standard returns policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The GrabGuard name, logo, application, and all associated content are the intellectual property of GrabGuard. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

GrabGuard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Personal safety outcomes cannot be guaranteed and depend on many factors outside our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, GrabGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of life, personal injury, loss of data, or financial loss, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrabGuard and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
